Places arranged by someone who has lived them.

Our designers only plan the places they know from the inside: the island they grew up on, the city they moved to twenty years ago.

It starts with a conversation. If it feels right, your designer plans the trip with you.

Step 1 of 3, about a minute

Where are you drawn to?

Pick a place. We read every request ourselves.

More places than these. If yours is missing, pick “Somewhere else”.

You learn a place by going back, season after season. Ours know it from the inside.

Lived, not researchedOne designer, one place. Lived, not studied.
Names, not suppliersThe healer in the hills, the family acetaia, the skipper. Contacts built over years.
Drawn from a blank pageNo catalog. Your trip exists once.
One person, all the waySame person plans it, fixes it, answers the phone.

Destinations

Where do you want to go?

Pick a place and we introduce you to someone who knows it from the inside.

Pick a place on the map

We show you what our designers plan there.

The designers

Each one covers only the places they can answer for. Ask for whoever fits your trip.

Still wondering? Fair enough.

What does it actually cost?

The first conversation is free. If you then ask them to design the trip, you pay a planning fee for that work. The trip itself costs the normal rates, and nothing in it is chosen because a supplier pushed it.

What is a travel designer, exactly?

An independent professional who plans trips for a living and covers one or two places, not the whole world. Ours have lived there or go back several times a year. They pick the route, the rooms, the guides and the tables, and stay reachable while you travel.

Why not just book it myself?

For a weekend, do. The difference shows when the order of the days matters, when the good places are too small to be online, and when a ferry is cancelled and someone has to fix it.

How quickly will I hear back?

Within 24 hours, from a person. We say who we are introducing and why. Wrong fit? We introduce someone else.

A question before you send a request?

Ask anything: where to go and when, how the designers work, what it costs.

No script. A person reads it and answers, usually within a day.

A question before you apply?

Ask anything: how requests reach you, how the founding group works, what we ask of you.

No script. I read it myself and answer, usually within a day.

Giulietta

Founder of Sakè

She built Sakè to bring independent designers travelers who are a real fit for them, and she talks to every designer before they join.

She built Sakè to put travelers in the hands of designers who know a place from the inside, and she reads every message herself.

We are taking on the founding travelers now.

One tap, then the person who knows it.
